SUGARCANE
Sugarcane stands out as a valuable resource in the biofuels industry, mainly due to its ability to be processed into ethanol and sugar.
The control of foam during the alcoholic fermentation of sugar cane juice is essential to guarantee the productivity of mills. In this sense, the use of dispersant and defoamer formulations is necessary to act both to prevent foam and to control it.
To maintain effective foam control, Indovinya offers the SURFCANE® AF series, high-performance polyglycols for dispersant and defoamer formulations, thus guaranteeing greater availability of useful volume for the fermentation vats and consequently maximizing ethanol production.

CORN
Corn is gaining more and more prominence as a raw material for ethanol production. Its adaptability to different climatic conditions makes it the preferred choice on a global scale.
During the production of corn ethanol, some high value-added co-products are generated, such as corn oil and DDGS (Dried Distillers Gwains with Solubles). To ensure high availability of corn oil, it is necessary to use demulsifiers to effectively separate the oil from the other co-products.
Through the ALKEST® SP series, Indovinya offers the market corn oil demulsifiers that efficiently break down the emulsion formed, thus reducing the time needed to separate the oil, reducing energy costs and increasing the profitability of the operation.
